Passing of Ordinance # 2023-09 Providing for the Use and Operation of Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTV’s) within the Corporate Limits of the Village of Winnebago

The Village of Winnebago passed Ordinance # 2023-09 Providing for the Use and Operation of Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTV’s) within the Corporate Limits of the Village of Winnebago.  The ordinance can be found online at https://www.villageofwinnebago.com/ordinance/2023-09-ord-providing-use-and-operation-utility-terrain-vehicles-utvs-within-corporate with maps indicating where operation of UTV’s are permitted and not permitted on specified roadways.   Registration and Inspection for operating a UTV in the Village of Winnebago will be on Mondays and Wednesday between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. beginning February 1, 2024, at 108 W. The UTV may not be driven on the roadway until registration and inspection have been completed and a valid permit is displayed!
